25 Aug Quality leathers to create designer shoes: Patent leather
Last entry in the series of posts focused on the importance within the manufacturing process, working withquality leathers to create designer shoes. In this sixth post we will highlight another type of leather, patent leather.
It is a type of leather covered with a very lustrous and shiny finish. This word means “varnishing material”. The patent was first a varnish of a special quality that allowed it not to crack, so it could be applied to a flexible surface such as leather.
Without a doubt, it is a different and sometimes more daring proposal, since this leather always attracts attention, especially if it is dimensioned even more thanks to a beautiful design.
Quality leathers to create designer shoes: Patent leather
For this post, we have selected two models of shoes as perfect examples of production with this patent leather, from our collections Papanatas and Cucada, respectively.
The first model, from our Papanatas collection, corresponds to these braided bio sandals, fully combinable with any style, providing a special touch and great comfort. Its anatomical insole together with a soft cork sole gives this model great comfort. In addition, this sole favors safety and confidence when walking, thanks to its non-slip properties.
For its part, the second proposal of shoes is a classic. These Mary Janes from our Cucada collection add a special touch to any style, both formal and informal. They are produced in a top-quality bovine patent leather and incorporate a breathable inner lining. Its color combines with everything and its buckle closure is perfect for a perfect fit to any foot.
All our shoes are designed and handcrafted in Spain, with top-quality materials.
We invite you to discover our proposals in our online store, where our size’s guide is available to help you fit the perfect number.
